MILLENNIUM IDOL MV : Victorian Bedroom

Victorian bedroom environment done for Honkai: Star Rail "In Another Life" - Millennium Idol by DillonGoo.

I was assigned to create a Victorian bedroom environment and was given the freedom to approach it however I felt comfortable.

Given the limited time between tasks and passes, working on this environment required almost no iteration. I designed the interior and modeled the assets simultaneously, relying on instinct to create a design that resembled the Victorian era. This also applied to the layout, as there was no clear indication of where the character should move beyond the actions they would be performing. Because of this, during the blocking phase, the environment was already passed to the animator while I continued working on it.

The process was relatively quick, as it required little to no texturing work apart from utilizing pre-made materials from previous projects.

I was also specifically asked to create a hero asset for the typewriter along with its rig. Though I wasn't entirely familiar with rigging, I’m quite happy with how the final product looks and functions.
